So we aren’t talking A-Cut, Le Blanc or Steak Inn here, we are talking a nightmarket steak that is deliciously inexpensive (and won’t give you stomach issues, like some)

Fortunately for you guys, the picture below explains what is what in the steak world in Taiwan. Now, I stand by British beef being up there with some of the best in the world. However, a lot of the beef we see around Taiwan is imported from USA. I don’t have any (yes) beef about this, personally, but I do know that some do.

$180

This steak isn’t going to change your world. But, for $180, I think it’s difficult to look past if you don’t want the usual nightmarket grub.

Get over the pasta and thick corn soup served with your meat. Really, just get over it. When you do, you’ll find a juicy piece of meat all slathered with peppercorn sauce. It’s alright, truth be told. The meat was cooked on the rarer side of medium, which is my usual order at steak houses. But, I kind of wished it was cooked a bit more, here…

So, would I recommend this place? Yes, and no.

If you’re in the neighbourhood and want steak but don’t want to shell out mega dollar, then yes.

But, if you want delicious steak that’s going to blow your mind – look elsewhere.
