And when I first arrived in Taiwan, these were places that I would avoid, as I used to hate waiting for food. But, hold tight, they don&#8217;t taste like they look. They more often than not have this weird chewy texture, packed with egg, oysters, pancake mix and are topped with a hefty dollop of mildly spicy and salty sauce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10284\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc07162.jpg?resize=3600%2C2391&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC07162\" width=\"3600\" height=\"2391\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The oysters here are juicy, full of flavour, and taste wonderfully fresh. I very rarely eat other oyster omelet joints <a href=\"http:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/2018\/03\/31\/taipei-city-%e5%a4%a9%e5%a4%a9%e5%88%a9%e7%be%8e%e9%a3%9f%e5%9d%8a-tiantianli-restaurant\/\">around the city<\/a>. This is definitely the best tasting one I have had so far.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Ermm, translations?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u7c73\u7cd5<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">$35<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10283\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc07157.jpg?resize=2637%2C2413&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC07157\" width=\"2637\" height=\"2413\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A more glutinous rice is used for this dish, seperating it from the <a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/2016\/07\/24\/taipei-city-\u91d1\u5cf0\u9b6f\u8089\u98ef-jinfeng-pork-and-rice\/\">\u9b6f\u8089\u98ef <\/a>we all know and love. The pork in this dish isn&#8217;t abundant, but it&#8217;s enough. The fat seeps through into the rice and creates a luxuriously guilty pleasure.
