Essentially what is a traditional tandoor is where these delicious pepper buns are baked at a ridiculously high temperature until they become crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/40273.jpg?ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12427\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">I had previously tried the ones <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/XbutJzjHB7xf5BAq9\" target=\"_blank\">just round the corner<\/a> and I had always thought they were pretty goot, albeit somewhat hit and miss (sometimes they&#8217;ve been waiting out of the oven a little too long and lost the freshness\/heat). However, <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/YrTyeTCDAveycUvS6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this place<\/a> is going to become my go-to in the area, now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/40263.jpg?ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12428\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">I find it quite difficult to make this look any nicer than this, but trust me when I say it&#8217;s spot-on. Most recently I checked out <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/yyE3dtuZ173nPe6j6\" target=\"_blank\">\u9762\u7dda\u753a<\/a>, so keep your eyes peeled for another post coming up soon. Anyway, back to it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/40267.jpg?ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12431\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">So, at $40 for a large bowl and $30 for a small bowl, you&#8217;re getting solid value for money. But, is it good? Well, for the area, yes. Mushrooms are a staple of my diet. I love me some fungus. If I decided that vegetarianism was a thing for me, then this king oyster mushroom would be my meat substitute, for sure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/40269.jpg?ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12433\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">They&#8217;ve got some interested toppings here. But, please be aware, the sauce they used is the same regardless of what topping you order, then the topping will just be sprinkled on at the end. So don&#8217;t expect the cumin to be a cumin rub on the mushrooms and then roasted. However, I haven&#8217;t been back in the 7 years post that moment. Fair play to them, they hadn&#8217;t given me any chilli in the dish. So, why was it spicy? The spoonful(s) of raw garlic they had splashed on. I hate raw garlic.
