The milk tastes like full-fat milk and gives it a good depth of flavour. But, it most certainly isn&#8217;t. The beef in this brisket sandwich is deliciously succulent, and the fried onions are in no way greasy, either. The horseradish cream used inside gives a big kick (bordering on too much) of fresh spice that can be likened to Wasabi.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">However, it isn&#8217;t quite worth the price tag, I don&#8217;t think.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">Next on the list:<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><b>The Veggie Table<\/b><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/02\/11e6f-imag0964.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/9dcac-imag0964.jpg?resize=640%2C358&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"358\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Borough market has such a diverse collection of stalls and restaurants ranging from oysters to fine Spanish prosciutto&#8217;s.\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, we went for The Veggie Table, here. The Veggie table offer up all sorts of vegetarian and vegan quick bites.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/02\/e2c79-imag0965.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/0a831-imag0965.jpg?resize=640%2C358&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"358\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">On the right is the Heavenly Halloumi Cheese Burger, and on the left is the Sweet Potato Chickpea Burger.\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/02\/a9444-imag0967.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/cc7c0-imag0967.jpg?resize=640%2C358&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"358\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">As they were out of buns \ud83d\ude41 I went for the Heavenly Halloumi Cheese Burger &#8216;on a leaf&#8217;. The burger itself is a very strange texture and feels soft, mushy and not an altogether pleasant consistency.\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As for the taste: it was good. I am not going to wax lyrical and say it was the best thing I have ever tried, but it offered up some clean flavours and paired with the red pickled onions quite well.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t eat the leaf.<\/p>\n<p>Finally&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/02\/8fe6a-imag0984.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/staging\/5148\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/0dcc9-imag0984.jpg?resize=640%2C358&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"358\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">One of the amazing things about Borough Market is that it is a short (5mins or so) walk from The Thames, with such views of Paul&#8217;s Cathedral.
