The restaurant itself is right nextdoor to Addiction Aquatic Development. That place is such an experience for anyone relatively new to the area or new to Taiwan. It’s basically a clean fish market that sells a whole variety of freshly prepared sushi and lunchboxes, and also has several restaurants on-site, too.

The Menu at Sincere Rays

While they don't seem to change their menu too much, I imagine that the seasons may impact some produce, therefore, it's best to refer to the website where their most up-to-date menu is displayed:

Deluxe Breakfast for Two
雙人大早餐

The Deluxe breakfast for two is epic! The colours and freshness are jumping off the plate and everything looks immediately delicious. This mega Australian brunch contains: sunny-side-up eggs, avocado, halloumi cheese, mushrooms, grilled tomato, salad, bacon, smoked salmon, fresh spinach, homemade yogurt, chia panna cotta, hash brown, sourdough bread.
Everything was quality. I relish the opportunity to chow down on smoked salmon as I barely see it here in Taiwan, and it is the perfect topping for that crunchy sourdough, fresh dressed salad, and unctuous avo. Those sunny-side-up eggs were perfect paired with the crunchy hash brown and bacon, bringing a whole host of incredible textures together. I'm clearly tapping into my Britishness with the egg, bacon, and potato life - and I love it!

Avo is always a welcome site. I enjoyed it with the sourdough, halloumi, and grilled tomatoes. That pop of sweet roasted tomato paired with the salty halloumi nicely, but then the avocado just brings it all together atop the delicious sourdough bread well.

On the right is a chia panna cotta-style thing, and on the left is a yoghurt and fruit granola. The chia seed panna cotta had a coconut flavour that I enjoyed a lot, and the sour berries with the yoghurt were perfect to cut through the salt of the rest of the deluxe breakfast. It's quite amazing to me that these were part of the deluxe breakfast, as everything was very filling. While you could get away with this being a 3-person sharer, I would recommend to just lock in and slowly chow through the whole thing between the two of you. But, of course, you must wash it down with a coffee...
Flat White

I love a flat white coffee. For me, it is the essence of what an Australian brunch should be, and it should be the first order at any Aussie brunch in Taipei. The silky smooth milk to coffee ratio is delightful, but I have yet to find a flat white that moves me in the way that the one at The Antipodean does...
Juice

Sincere Rays have a whole host of different, delicious juices that more resemble smoothies than juice. As delicious and refreshing as I remember this being, I do not remember what this juice was called. The balance of sweet and sour flavours was spot on, and those cheeky little crunchy grapes hiding in the top were a lovely addition, too.
The Bottom Line
Is it worth it? Sincere Rays is definitely worth checking out for your next hit of Australian brunch in Taipei. It's great value for money, fresh produce, and great drinks make it a stand-out in Taipei.
What is the best dish? The Deluxe breakfast for two was right on-point. The variety and freshness are top notch.
Are there other places like this? There are a few great brunch options in Taipei that I recommend, those are The Antipodean and Supranormal Bakery.
