Breakfast is hailed as the most important meal of the day, so why take it lightly? I say, hit it head on and take it as a good chance to eat lots, as you’re going to burn it off throughout the day, anyway (hopefully).
ShouFeng Ice – a little way out of Hualien sits ShouFeng township. There’s not a lot there, except from this awesome ice shop. Get the taro, without a doubt, and my other hot tip is the red bean, too! $50/bowl!!!
Recently awarded a Michelin Star, 3 coins is one of those special occasion places. Expect to pay at least $1,000/person, but leave extremely satisfied, and more than full.
